This is one of the super late posts for I am too lazy to write. LOL

I just want to share our adventures last Christmas break. Since this is our first time to celebrate the holidays as hubby and wifey, why not share it to the world right? In my last post, i shared how we celebrated our christmas, and all the mishaps about it. this time, its our adventures.

This is not the first time I went out with them. But this is definitely memorable for all of us because we are complete!!! It was really fun! we all rode viking, then tried the newest ride, The Space Flyer! OMG! It's is one heck of a ride, it is also good for people who are so into that kind of adrenalin rush. LOL

December 21, 2008 - hubby left wifey @ home because there are so many things to do...

December 24, 2008 afternoon, while waiting for hubby....

December 24 2008 (christmas eve) - hubby and wifey exhausted from all preparations...we relaxed by doing our favorite hobby....singing! (pardon the perspiration....lolz)

December 25 -- We attended the reunion of the Avila clan...

I am so happy with my life, our life right now. Yet, people are still asking

"How's the newlyweds?"

"How's the married life?"

"What are the things that you have just discovered?"

"Is there a baby yet?"

It's getting into my nerves already, but will i blame them? NO.

But once and for all, I would like to tell the world that we are ok. I am happy and so is my husband. Quarrels? yes we do have and i think its part of the process couples are going through, but somehow we are blessed for we patch things up a few hours after the babbling and grumbling and shouting (lolz!).

Baby? We're trying but I think that it's not yet time for it. I know, everybody is looking forward and excited, but sorry to say, no baby yet. Let's just pray that God would bless us with an angel soon (because my dear hubby is very very excited na!).

The BEST tour guide in the world

He is one of the reasons why we had our trip to Hongkong....Thank you tito (and tita!! and little pretty girl)!!!

Anyway, we (just) met him on the day that we have arrived in Hongkong. He waited for us in front of the Buddhist temple near our hotel. Mind you guys, as soon as we have arrived in Hongkong, he kept on calling to check on us. A very hospitable person! After the introductions and all, he told us to freshen up cause we're about to walk and walk and walk...kiddin'

He did give us a tour around Hongkong, not to mention the freebies we got from him (yey!) and the little instructions that we will need to survive Hongkong like (1) surviving the MTR, (2) how to deal with a policeman that will look for your passport (3) how to deal with the rudeness of some people in Hongkong, (oh they're not rude by the way, its just an innate thing that they do because you might be a little stupid for not following their rules), (4) making sure that you smoke in the right place or else you'll be fined a maxmium of 5,000 HKD! (5) how to really follow directions, (6) asking when you get lost...hehehe

I did say he's the BEST tour guide, yep he is....why? He did not only tour us around Hongkong, but we have also learned little something-something from him. He did teach us (third & I) how to deal with life. How to put your life on the right track and how to live as married couple in a harmonious way (there's a secret to it). He also gave me an idea on how to put up a business (im thinking a lot about it by the way).... in short, this man is full of wisdom...GRABEE!!!!

I was really thankful to God because we met him and we have LEARNED so much from him....

To Tita P and little pretty girl: Thank you, i hope i'll be able to give back all the things you have shared with me.

To the best tour guide: No words can express how grateful we are when we were in Hongkong. You have made our stay a very whorthwhile experience. We have learned so much and it has really changed our outlook in life....Thank you....we'll see you in bangkok on our next tour!!!

Have you ever felt the hands of God showering blessings upon you? Well, we would like to share how God moved in our lives especially during the preparations of the wedding.

We didn't have enough money to really afford an expensive wedding, but God did touch the hearts of some people to provide the needs for our wedding. What are those? (not in order)

My bridal gown, is my mom's gift. Yep, I know what you guys are thinking...it's automatic that parents would provide...but frankly i am not expecting it. And God didn't only provided for my gown, he had touched someone to make the whole entourage!!

Yes, a bridal package!!! From the flower girls to the maiden of honor and my groom's barong.....what's more? All the bridal accessories (arrhae, veil, bridal studs, garter, cord) were given for free !!!!

And top to that the amount of everything!!!!!!! (guess how much?)

A month before the wedding, our dolphin souvenirs ran out from Trinoma mall and I don't want to buy the ones from Divisoria for they are so common and traditional.... I wanted something that is different, something that would really be wonderful to the eyes. So, I prayed that God would help me find the souvenirs....until one Sunday morning, Kay Susan tayo featured these delightful candles. Yes, they are candles! Scented/flavored Candles mind you... aside from the fact that it is blue, our candle cupcakes and cakes were creme brulee and vanilla flavor! yum yum!!! (re edit: FYI-the scent is WHAT YOU WILL REALLY EXPECT once you light the candle)

They were created by Ms. Melody...I can never ask for anything more from Ms. Mel--she is heaven sent! Aside from her friendly aura, she would also help you pick out flavors and designs for your souvenirs...God Bless her for she is so wonderful!!! Oh by the way, the money used for these souvenirs were given to us by... Third's sister. Yes, she was also touched by God to provide for these wonderful souvenirs.

Our hotel accommodation is also a blessing....

I was looking for a good hotel that is well situated. I only have 3 hotels in my list but they are so expensive or their deals are not so great.

A blessing from God, because Imperial Palace Hotel is having their promo rates during my wedding. So we got a great deal for our hotel!!! Isn't wonderful?

God touched my Maiden of Honor to create this wonderful invitation...

materials were chosen by me, lay out, printing and stuff were done by my dear friend Tal. if you want to have your invitations done by her, just tell me... (we're trying to make it as a business) lolz!

Yep yep! Our bridal car is also a gift!

I was really shocked when they even find their way to put some bouquet in front of Paul's car...

It was all overwhelming and the feeling is grabee!!!!

And my make-up artist and hairstylist is also a blessing....(sorry michelle, we don't have a picture sayang...)

How? Well, they are really good and they know their craft so well... they'r beauty and brains mind you.

anyhow, Sophie is the kind of person who is really good in make-up and vanity. She will tell you the things you needed bore the wedding. she would even recommend things you need to do before the wedding. you can visit her website http://beautynomics.com for recent reviews and other ka-kikayan stuff..

next is michelle, the hairstylist. i really don't know her personally but she is a-good hairstylist. just tell her what you want, and voila! your hair will stand until the end of time...lolz...kiddin'
but, your hair will never fall...promise.

and lastly, our Honeymoon. It was a gift from the grandfather of my student... yes, a kind and very generous man. We met him in Hongkong and, i feel so lucky to have met him... he's a guy that is full of life and full of knowledge. there is no dull moment with him. Again, thank you tito for everything.

well, that's it.... i thank God for all of these blessings he had given unto us during my wedding... and lastly, i want to thank Him for my husband... he is such a wonderful person. Nobody will be as wonderful as my dear third.

Lesson of the story? God is really good and He works mysteriously...just believe in Him...
